Our aim is to help you create an event that you and your guests are going to remember for all the right reasons; great atmosphere, great energy and outstanding music. With clever arrangements, hot horn lines and beautiful harmonies, there is a lot to listen to and most importantly a lot to dance to!

One of Funky Buddha’s many strengths is the great versatility they can offer in terms of music. Although most known for our fantastic party sets, we are all academy trained musicians who play a broad range of styles from Classical to Jazz and Popular to more Chillout styles. This versatility means that we can offer you a range of musical options depending on what you are looking for. We can provide outstanding music throughout the whole day and night, catering specifically for you – what you like and what you want.

From ceremony music to dinner jazz, or chillout music as you have a drink and enjoy the canapés, we can offer you the whole package. The advantage of this for you is that we offer these extras at a significantly reduced price if you book the band for the evening. We can oversee all your music requirements, ensuring that everything flows smoothly and is of the same high professional standard we guarantee at all our events.

When I asked my wedding planner to give me the name of the best
band she had seen, she led me to you Funky Buddha Band…..I’m so
glad she did!
When I looked you up I knew you were the band for me and after to
speaking to Huw personally it only confirmed it for me.
Everything i write just seems so lame but I am a perfectionist and
you were perfection, From the Jazz in the sunshine, to the first dance,
to the pure funk in the evening. Everybody was dancing from 3-78 yr
olds and even the teenagers were dancing and enjoying themselves
(and not even in an ironic way lol).
Although I didnt have time to talk to you, I didnt need too I was in
safe hands, my guests did though and they said you were the most
friendly easy going bunch of dudes ever.
My only two regrets are: 1. I wasn’t a guest so had to be sensible lol
2. I did that much of a good job, my daughter’s prep school have
asked me to be the events co-ordinator…..they also have you in mind
for the Bi-annual Ball.
So Funky Buddha, I would like to thank you for helping making our

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job the band did on the night –
they blew everyone away!
Everyone was asking how we got them and how we found the band
as they were so so good!

Now the dust has settled and June and I have returned to earth from
cloud 9 can we both please take this opportunity to thank you and
your band for a most fabulous evening.
The quality of the music was superb and we have received so many
comments on the fantastic music you played.
As an indication of how well the party went, you even managed to get
my 82 year old Mother onto the dance floor – A sight which has not
been seen since 1976 !!!! Thank you.
In fact at one point you had everyone from a 6 year old child to an 82
yr old grandmother all on the dance floor at the same time – an
example of the diversity of the music you played.

Thank you so much for entertaining the crowd at our wedding on
Saturday – you guys were absolutely awesome! We loved the fact
that you enabled us to have our first dance to live music and the set
was just great. So many guests raved about you. Ziggy, the event
manager at Old Finsbury Town Hall, said you were one of the best
bands she has ever heard. We hope more business comes your way
as a result and we will certainly be recommending you to family and
friends.
We both feel terrible that we didn’t actually get the chance to say
hello or goodbye. We’re not sure how it happened! We’d planned to
say thanks in person at the end, but everyone left so quickly that we
